created based on the paintings of M. K. Čiurlionis, in collaboration with the National M. K.
Čiurlionis Museum of Art. The puzzles are made based on high-resolution digital copies of the original works.
.Mikalojus Konstantinas Čiurlionis(1875–1911) is one of the most famous Lithuanian artists, who left an indelible mark on Lithuanian culture and the history of modern European art. A painter, composer and writer, he was a universal creator whose life spanned only 35 years, but his legacy was enormous. M.K. Čiurlionis created at the crossroads of symbolism and modernism. He is considered one of the pioneers of early abstract art in the world. He was the first Lithuanian artist to combine music and painting into a single artistic language and his works are often described as “painted music.” His work embodies the spirit of Lithuania, a deep-rooted connection with the country’s culture and the mystical beauty of nature.
ART collection consists of four paintings:
„Karalių pasaka“ - M.K. Čiurlionis The Tale of the Kings. 1909. Original size of the
painting 70.2 x 75.3cm, Čt. 35. This is one of the most famous and iconic painting by M. K. Čiurlionis. This work is distinguished by its mysterious symbolism, dreamy images of kings and a subtle play of colors, creating a fabulous and at the same time mythological atmosphere. “The Tale of Kings” is often considered one of the most striking examples of Čiurlionis’ work, revealing his unique style and ability to visually convey deep philosophical and spiritual ideas.
„Pilies pasaka“ – M.K.Čiurlionis Castle Fairy Tale. 1909. Original painting size 49.6 x

The motif of a journey, a mountain, a castle is common in the paintings of M.K. Čiurlionis. In this painting all the aforementioned motifs are combined into a common composition. A pointed mountain penetrates the boundless expanse of the sky and at its peak is a castle surrounded by walls, between which the artist depicts a procession ascending.
Čiurlionis' castles are never simply architecture, they are like fortresses of our inner world,
protecting dreams, memories or desires, they resemble dreams, where each element has a
hidden meaning.
„Angelas“ – M.K. Čiurlionis, Angel. 1909. Original painting size 50 x 53.7cm; Čt. 15.
This is a painting about the beginning – an angel on a mountain, like a bearer of light, opening the way for a spiritual journey. In its background bridges are crossed by multi-colored angels. This composition is filled with transparency and tenderness, the figures are light, silence and peace are in the air. The work of art symbolizes the ascension of the soul and the path to the spiritual world, inviting you to discover inner peace and harmony.
„Pasaulio sutvėrimas IX“ – M.K. Čiurlionis, cycle "Creation", around 1905-1906.

36.5 x 30.5cm; Čt 190. The cycle "Creation" is like a painted myth of the birth of the world, it is one of the most powerful cycles of works by M.K. Čiurlionis in his entire legacy. Each painting is a step towards harmony. Part IX is one of the most dramatic parts of the cycle - the moment when the world is almost created, the culmination, when order is born - earth, sky, time.
Puzzle sizes:
• M (150 pcs.) – souvenir format, available in all four painting versions.
• L (300 pcs.) – all puzzles from this collection corresponds to the size of the original painting "Creation IX".
• XL (700 pcs.) – available for 3 puzzles: "The Tale of the Kings", "The Angel" and "The Tale
of the Castle". The size of the assembled puzzle corresponds to the size of the original
painting. The level of complexity is equivalent to a paper puzzle of approximately 1300-
1500 pieces. The shapes of the pieces are unique and uneven, and the thematic figures hidden in the puzzles add extra charm and joy of discovery. Wooden puzzles require more concentration than regular cardboard ones, but they provide a unique experience.
